Why does PR feel risky to so many founders?

Because deep down, you know your house isn’t finished yet.

That’s it.

And somewhere along the way, you decided they were ready in a way you aren’t.

They weren’t.

Their house wasn’t perfect either. They just made sure it could hold people before opening the doors.

PR doesn’t build the house. It lets people walk in.

If the foundation is steady, that’s fine. If it isn’t, you feel it immediately.

The loose bricks. The unfinished rooms. The things you were hoping to fix in silence.

Most founders are unafraid of visibility. But they’re afraid of being seen too early.

There’s no such thing as “PR will fix it later.” Once people have walked through your house, they remember what they saw.

That’s why waiting isn’t always fear. Sometimes it’s a deliberate choice to protect reputation until the work underneath is strong enough to be seen.
